Carolinas Specialty Hospital (CSH), a 40-bed LTAC hospital with specialized programs in Pulmonary Disease, Wound Care Management and care of Medically Complex patients, operates within 305-bed CMC- Mercy Hospital, a Carolinas HealthCare System (CHS) hospital, located in the heart of Charlotte's beautiful and historic Elizabeth district. CSH, opened in January 2003, was the first and only LTAC “hospital-within-hospital” in the region.

The Acuity Specialty Hospital – Ohio Valley, which opened in August 2005, is a 40-bed LTAC hospital that operates on the third floor of Trinity Medical Center – East Campus, part of the Trinity Health System in Steubenville, Ohio.
Trinity Health System comprises the most complete health care option in eastern Ohio. The hospital system includes Trinity East and Trinity West which has a combined capacity of over 471 beds and employs more than 1800 people.
Acuity Specialty Hospital will offer specialized programs in Pulmonary Disease, Wound Care Management and the care of Medically Complex patients. The only LTAC hospital in east central Ohio, the Acuity Specialty Hospital meets the unique needs of the upper Ohio Valley, northwestern West Virginia and western Pennsylvania tri-state area.

Lourdes Specialty Hospital, which opened in November 2005, was the first LTAC Hospital to serve southern New Jersey before Acuity Specialty Hospital of New Jersey opened in 2009. Together, both hospitals collaborate in serving patients in New Jersey and throughout the tri-state area.
Lourdes Specialty Hospital (LSH), in Willingboro, New Jersey, is a 30-bed LTAC hospital, and operates as a "hospital-within-hospital" on the third floor of Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County. The hospital utilizes a patient-focused care model resulting in excellent clinical outcomes in areas such as, ventilator weaning, wound care healing, and multi-organ failure recovery. The physician-driven interdisciplinary team approach provides comprehensive and personalized care to each patient and believes that families are integral members of the care team and an essential component to the patients recovery.
A 259-bed community hospital and part of Our Lady of Lourdes Health System, Lourdes Medical Center has served the residents of Burlington County, New Jersey since 1961. Today, Lourdes Medical Center and its sister facility, Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey, a 377-bed tertiary care teaching hospital sponsored by the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, New York, carry on the tradition the Sisters started over 50 years ago.

Crawley Memorial Hospital is located in central North Carolina at the foot of Kings Mountain in Boiling Springs, North Carolina, just 55 miles west of Charlotte. The freestanding 53,000 square foot hospital was built in 1977 as the vision of a small group of physicians and began as an infirmary for Gardner Webb University.
Crawley Memorial Hospital is proud to be affiliated with Cleveland Regional Hospital, part of the Carolinas HealthCare System. Carolinas HealthCare System is the largest healthcare system in the Carolinas, and the third largest publicly owned hospital system in the Country.
The hospital will convert to a 41-bed LTAC with 10 Skilled Nursing Beds in January of 2010 and offer specialized programs in pulmonary, complex wound care management, and medically complex patients.
