Acuity CBO Team Featured on WBTV!
Teresa Rankin, who is a member of our stellar Central Business Office (CBO) team, recently entered the Acuity CBO Department in a contest with WBTV. Not only in her submission did she express her gratitude for her co-workers, their strong sense of teamwork, and how she is proud to be a part of this team, but her kind words also caught the attention of the judges: the WBTV has selected the Acuity CBO Team as the winners of the contest!
The name of the contest is the “WBTV Breakfast Club,” and as the winners, our office received a free Bojangles’ breakfast served by a representative Bojangles’ on the morning of Wednesday, December 28th. WBTV Reporter Sammi Jo Francis will be here as well and will be filming the segment, which will air on December 28 on Channel 3 during the 4:00 segment of the news, and again during the 6:30am segment the following morning.
Stephen Clayton, VP of Revenue Cycle, acknowledged the CBO in a recent email to them: “The Leadership Team does realize what an outstanding job you all do…This department is consistently well-above average! In fact, there is nothing average about this group and I just want to thank each and every one of you for all your hard work and dedication.”
Evidence of their hard work can be seen in the company-wide YTD AR Days, which are 52 – and the current National Average AR days for LTAC Hospitals is 77 days.
Perhaps Ms. Rankin said it best in her entry to WBTV: “As a member of the Patient Access Team, we work extremely hard to provide support to other departments as well as assist each other to achieve success.” That they do, and it certainly shows.
