Mark Stepanik, EVP/COO, Acuity Healthcare, LP, Announces Hilda Long as CEO, ICON Hospital
Humble, TX - December 13, 2011 – Mark Stepanik, Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, Acuity Healthcare, LP announced Hilda Long as the Chief Executive Officer of ICON Hospital. This appointment was approved unanimously by the ICON Board of Directors at our ICON board meeting on December 7, 2011.
Hilda has been employed with ICON Hospital as the Director of Quality since 2009. Most recently she served as Interim CEO for ICON hospital, during which time she has made substantial contributions enhancing the operating objectives at ICON, building relationships with external providers, and establishing ICON as the preferred LTAC specialty hospital in the Houston area. In addition, Hilda has over twenty years of successful healthcare experience working for Triumph and Memorial Hermann Hospitals, and has earned a great deal of respect in the Houston area for building networks with physicians and expanding referral opportunities.
