The Pulmonologists on the Acuity team understand that each patient has individual and complex needs. Because of this, our processes are meticulous and our patients are closely monitored. Our team of Pulmonologists and Specialized Physicians work in conjunction with our nursing team to ensure the highest caliber of treatment.
The Acuity team uses proven ventilator weaning protocols that restore patients to their highlest level of functionality. Because the nature of ventilator weaning is so complex, our team uses an interdisciplinary approach involving physical therapy, occupational therapy, nutritional management, and case management. We place a great deal of emphasis on communication with patients and family members throughout our individualized treatment plans.
